Materials of the last hearing in the case of Russian Alexander Vinnik were classified by decision of a judge in the United States. This was stated by Vinnik’s lawyer Arkady Bukh.
He also suggested that Vinnik could be in Russia in the next few hours.
“Recently, a hearing on Mr. Vinnik’s case was held in the US federal court. However, according to the judge’s decision, the hearing materials were classified,” Bukh told RIA Novosti.
The White House announced Vinnik’s release from a U.S. prison on the evening of February 12. The Russian citizen was exchanged for American Mark Vogel, convicted in Russia for drug smuggling.
